Canon tweaks XH A1 and XH G1 for the new year

Updated 11/6 with clarification on complete enhancements. According to Canon, these models were updated in an analogous way to the XL H models.

Gorgeous docs host Issuu launches pro service

Last week Web-hosted documents service Issuu launched a brand-new service for business users who want to host document files without Issuu's branding or advertising. Users who subscribe to this model can be billed by the page view, all the way up to a million views a month, with a special viewer that can be both integrated and branded to match the site.

NEC goes pro and (relatively) cheap with new LCD

All of the monitors I've reviewed at CNET are consumer-level designs. One of the reasons for this is that professional-level monitors have a limited audience because of their expense.

NEC is seeking to change that, somewhat. On Friday, NEC announced the 22-inch P221W LCD monitor. This is being targeted at professionals who need to work in color-critical environments, but don't want to break the bank. You'll have to be the judge--for now--on whether $637 is "breaking the bank".
