The LG G Pro 2 may add beefier speakers to its list of enhancements.
The successor to the LG G Pro will be equipped with a high-powered 1-watt speaker system, Korean news site ETNews said on Thursday. The bass will also be bassier courtesy of thicker speakers, while the sound itself promises to be clearer as well as more powerful. Overall, the audio output will be a 30 percent or more improvement over that of the LG G Pro, the site claimed.
Further, users will be able to adjust the sound level and other features via a dedicated app.

The successor to the HTC One may offer not one, but two rear cameras, at least according to an alleged photo tweeted on Tuesday.
Served up by a Twitter account called @HTCFamily.ru, the photo purports to show the rear casing of the HTC M8 with two camera lenses clearly on view near the top. Assuming the image is accurate, this means the upcoming new phone, codenamed the HTC M8, should be more adept at keeping your photos in focus.
Samsung's Galaxy S5 will use its entire screen as one giant fingerprint sensor. At least, that's a new tidbit served up by someone considered a Samsung insider.
Leaking the information to blog site iTechAddict, the "well-placed insider within Samsung India R&D" said that the fingerprint sensor will be the screen itself. Theoretically, that means users would be able to touch anywhere on the display to unlock the phone and gain access to secure apps and content.

Former US representative Anthony Weiner wasn't the only one to get hooked on sexting -- apparently, nearly half of all US adults' smartphones contain sexy photos or texts.

Like it or not, the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 is set to usher in the era of ultra HD smartphone screens.
The Galaxy S5 won't be the first mobile handset to showcase a 2,560x1,440-pixel resolution -- that honor belongs to the Vivo Xplay 3S -- but it will be the handset that draws the most attention, at least initially. And part of that conversation will revolve around just how necessary, even useful, it is to top a phone with a screen resolution so high.
Apple has long stood by the 326ppi pixel density of its Retina Display … Read more
It was just a few weeks ago I told you about the Charged-Card, a wallet-friendly battery pack designed to provide emergency power for your smartphone.
Pretty cool, yes, but a little costly at the expected retail price of $39.99 (early backers can still get in for $30), and a little limited with just one connector: Apple 30-pin, Apple Lightning, or Micro-USB.
Unfortunately for the Charged-Card folks, there's already a better product in the works: the Jumper Card, which does more for less.
Physically these two gizmos are just about identical. The Jumper Card is barely larger than a … Read more

LG's upcoming G Pro 2 smartphone will sport one major improvement for photo takers.
The 13MP camera will be packed with optical image stabilization (OIS), LG said in a Korean blog post on Tuesday. OIS tries to ensure clear and sharp photos by compensating for any shakiness on the part of the picture taker. The feature can be found in other smartphones, including the HTC One, the Nexus 4, and Nokia's Lumia 1020.
The G Pro 2's camera is also capable of burst-mode shooting, which can capture 20 photos in a row, all at a resolution of … Read more
