Jump on the LED party train with zero-profile lights

In case you haven't heard these days: LED lighting is so hot right now. It's going to save space, save the earth, put an end to incandescent energy hogs (oink, oink), and maybe even win "American Idol." (Kidding on that last one.)

But there's something else that LED lighting can do. It can make your wall look like a really cool motherboard, thanks to these lighting tracks featured on Slashgear. Now that's an awesome way to light up your living room, and save space in the process.

Get the munchies with home laser show

In our neck of the woods, attending a laser show was a rite of teen passage. There, among the psychedelic lights and pounding music, was the distinct scent of illicit substances. Good times.

Now you can get nostalgic in the comfort (and privacy) of your own home with the "Red Hot Laser Show," as seen on Red Ferret. We have no idea how well this thing works, but at $42 it seems a steal if it can bring back just one or two fog-shrouded memories. How to stave off the winter blues

Alternative energy companies may be politically correct, but that doesn't mean they don't know how work a capitalistic marketing system.
