The Zeki 7-inch tablet runs Android 4.0, houses a 1GHz AllWinner A10 single-core processor, and comes with 8GB of internal storage with microSD expansion.

It also includes both a full-size and a Mini-USB port, and a Mini-HDMI port, as well as built-in 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi. The screen has a resolution of 800x480 pixels with a front-facing VGA camera.

The tablet is currently difficult to find in stores and you may have better luck with the Amazon Kindle Fire.

Quad-core Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet costs $500, $550

On the heels of last week's global launch, Samsung has officially announced U.S. pricing for its 10-inch Galaxy Note tablet.

The tablet, whose standout feature is its pressure-sensitive S Pen stylus and compatible apps, comes in two colors, deep gray and white. It also comes in two storage capacities. Motorola has confirmed that the Verizon Droid 4 is now officially undergoing its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.

A late Monday tweet from the handset maker advises that the update is rolling out in phases. As is the case with other Android 4.0 builds, the Droid 4 will get features such as face unlock, data management, and a friendlier user interface. … Read more

Verizon Wireless customers who thought they were getting a Droid Razr HD last week will have to wait a few more months.

Moto now is expected to release the Droid Razr HD and Droid Razr Maxx HD in October, according to tech site HotHardware. A source told the blog that the date may shift either direction and largely revolves around the sales of the current models.

ZTE reaches high with Grand X

Though it doesn't boast any flagship specs, the ZTE Grand X is one of the more ambitious phones coming out of the Chinese phone manufacturer yet. CNET UK recently reviewed the handset, and was pleased to see that it ran a skinless version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. In addition, it sports a dual-core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and comes preloaded with Nvidia's Tegra Zone gaming portal.

Archos says G10 xs tablet launch details coming in three weeks

Almost five months after posting a teaser video on Youtube for its G10 xs tablet, Archos is ready to launch its latest stab at the Android tablet market. A teaser image highlighting the tablet's thinness was posted on Archos Worldwide's Facebook page with a caption saying to look for the launch announcement in three weeks.

The G10 xs is rumored to run Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and have microSD and Mini-HDMI connections. The tablet, which could be the thinnest tablet yet with a 7.6mm thickness, could rival the Asus Transformer Infinity with its similar keyboard dock accessory. The G10 xs appears to be aimed at the higher-end tablet market with its eye-catching design and already looks like an upgrade from Archos' most recent effort, the 101 G9 Turbo tablet.

Android 4.0 lands on Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets

Samsung has rolled out the Ice Cream Sandwich flavor of Android to a couple of its Galaxy Tab tablets.

Android 4.0 is now available to owners of the 10.1-inch and 7.0 Plus models in the U.K., and can be downloaded over the air or installed via Samsung's Kies software application. But the company is so far mum about the rest of its tablet lineup.

Those of you who like a little Ice Cream Sandwich with your Raspberry Pi seem due for just such a treat.

Sony has not completely ruled out an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for its 2011 Xperia line, despite what the company may have told you just days ago.

We know that T-Mobile would add the stylus-toting Samsung Galaxy Note to its roster, but now we have a release date and pricing.

The jumbo phone lands at T-Mobile on August 8 for $249.99, after a $50 mail-in-rebate and with a new two-year service agreement.
