Just as it was instrumental in her final text message to K-Fed, the trusty device has never left her side through the latest rehab stint (and escape), as the paparazzi found out. And she's not alone: the BlackBerry 8700, according to GeekSugar, is apparently the smart phone of choice for scads of other celebs, from Brit-buddy Jamie-Lynn Sigler to Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Aniston, and the ubiquitous Paris Hilton.

LG to launch two Windows Mobile 6 devices?

Engadget Mobile and Business Week have reported that LG has two Windows Mobile 6 devices in the works, and one of them looks to be the uberstylish LG Prada phone that we mentioned awhile back. A "specially tweaked" interface is supposedly in the works for the touch screen phone, and the other device is apparently more "Chocolate-like." All this ranks rather high on the speculation meter, but we'll keep our radar up for more information.

Asus debuts the Aries smart phone

It may look like the Nokia E62 or even the Motorola Q, but this particular QWERTY smart phone is actually the Aries from well-known motherboard maker Asus. It's yet another Windows Mobile 6 device to hit 3GSM today, and it sports some pretty nice stats: tri-band UMTS, a 2-megapixel camera, a front camera for video conferencing, a scroll wheel on the side, and a 520MHz XScale processor.

Toshiba debuts two new smart phones with HSDPA

The 3GSM news just keeps on coming, and Toshiba wows us with an impressive set of two new Windows Mobile smart phones that are geared to take advantage of HSDPA-level speeds. The G900 has a jaw-dropping 3-inch WVGA display, a 2-megapixel camera, a video conference camera on the front, 64MB of internal memory, miniSD expansion, 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, USB, video calling, USB storage, and the aforementioned triband HSDPA.
