About 19 percent of respondents to a recent study say they have dropped their phones in the toilet, the Facebook for iPad app is hidden inside of the iPhone app version 3.4.4, and the popular iOS and Android game Cut the Rope makes its way to comic books.

SAN DIEGO--By the second day of Comic-Con, it's not surprising to be a bit tired from the full-on convention experience. Ads are everywhere and seem to outnumber even convention-goers, but there's more to the con than just swag.

SAN DIEGO--It's not often a comic book begins its life as a video game, but the popular iOS and Android game Cut the Rope and its star character Om Nom are about to make the reverse leap from games to comics. Game publisher Zepto Lab and comics publisher Ape Entertainment made the announcement at the San Diego Comic-Con.

SAN DIEGO--Dark Horse Comics has been publishing new stories in the Star Wars galaxy for more than 20 years, and CNET has learned that today the company plans to announce that they will continue to do so on computers at digital.darkhorse.com and via their iOS app.
