Spaces grabbing keyboard input in Leopard or Snow Leopard

Spaces is a virtual desktop implementation by Apple that allows you to organize content in up to 16 separate desktop "workspace" environments to prevent window and application clutter. When active you can invoke Spaces by pressing an assigned hotkey, or by moving your mouse to an assigned hot-corner of the display.

iWeb 3.0.2 is available; Safari updates released

Apple released a small update to iWeb that addresses issues related to publishing Web sites to MobileMe. In particular, it refines comment and search support for blogs and podcasts that are uploaded to these Web sites. In addition, Safari has also been updated for Tiger, Leopard, Snow Leopard, and Windows.

iWeb 3.0.2 can be downloaded via Software Update or from the iWeb update Webpage.

The update is 177.14MB as a standalone download but may be a slightly different size in Software Update for various systems. The update should not require a restart.

How to add colors back to iTunes 10 sidebar

One of the changes Apple made to iTunes that several people have been disappointed with is the app's lack of colors in the sidebar, making the window look out of focus and a bit bland. Some people have looked into hidden settings and other ways to modify iTunes to bring the colors back.

Possible fix for Harman Kardon iSub problems with PowerPC Macs

When Apple released some of the final updates to OS X 10.5 for PowerPC systems, a number of Harman Kardon iSub owners found their speaker systems no longer worked properly with their computers. The problem appeared to be a driver-related error but neither Harman Kardon nor Apple stepped up to fix the issue and owners had to resort to other speaker systems.
