Private browsing, or 'porn mode' for people with more prurient Web browsing requirements, will soon be available in Firefox on a per-window basis for desktops and a per-tab basis on Android.

The latest versions of Firefox 20 Beta (download for Windows, Mac, and Linux) and Firefox 20 Beta for Android (download) have been updated to allow people to have a more streamlined private browsing experience. Private browsing disables built-in browser recording, including history and cookies.

DoubleTwist, maker of the popular eponymous music player software, has teamed up with chip maker Qualcomm in an attempt to make wireless streaming easier for Android users. The fruit of their collaboration is dubbed MagicPlay, a new open-source wireless streaming platform that the two companies hope OEMs will integrate into present and future devices.

Built atop Qualcomm's already existing AllJoyn platform, DoubleTwist's MagicPlay can stream to wireless speakers, headphones, televisions, and other devices. Samsung will unveil its new Galaxy S4 smartphone at a launch event on March 14.

The news was tweeted by Samsung this morning via an invitation announcing the event, dubbed "Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 1." The tweet says Samsung wants people to "come and meet the next Galaxy," and further teases the new device with the numeral 4 in the phrase "Ready 4 the show." The current version of the company's signature smartphone is, of course, the Galaxy S3.

BARCELONA, Spain--Samsung's not content with just making smart TVs -- now it's taking another lunge into your living room with HomeSync, an Android-powered media hub.

The glossy black box, announced today at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, has an HDMI connection, but also hooks up to other gadgets over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. An unnamed Korean forum has posted images of what could be a Samsung smartwatch, Slashgear is reporting today. Slashgear did not, however, link to the forum posting.

The images published by Slashgear show black-and-white display screenshots that Slashgear says measure 500x500 pixels. It's not clear, though, whether the watch comes with a 500x500 display or the images were crunched down.
