Among the many features of the iPhone I am evaluating, the YouTube feature is an absolute treat. The picture quality is jaw-dropping. Downloading some of your classic favorites is the best way to impress people. Showing it off never entered your mind? Yeah, right.

This morning I saw a man with an iPhone run the San Francisco Marathon. I was using my trusty iPod Nano with the Nike+ feature instead. There was something about the iPhone that wouldn't allow me to even bring the iPhone to the race. I wouldn't check it in with my sweats, much less wear it on my arm as I run 13+ miles. Dailymotion, a European competitor to YouTube, has come up with an excellent app that finally brings video content to the iPhone all via the Safari browser (YouTube videos can only be accessed via the onboard YouTube application). The iPhone-friendly portal page looks a lot like the YouTube app, and when a video is selected, a small information page pops up with the video thumbnail on the upper-left corner. Huzzah, all hail the HTC Kaiser! The latest Windows Mobile 6 smart phone from HTC has been given the thumbs-up by the FCC, clearing the way for a U.S. release. According to the FCC filings, it appears there are, in fact, three models: the HTC KAIS100 with a 3-megapixel camera; the KAIS110 with no camera; and the KAIS120 with a 3-megapixel camera on back and VGA lens on front. At last year's Office 2.0 Conference (which CNET sponsored), attendees were delighted to discover that the price of admission included an iPod Nano, cleverly preloaded with the conference schedule.

This year, organizer Ismael Ghalimi is raising the ante. All conference attendees get iPhones.
