QuickLaunch isn't for everyone, just for those who want to incrementally save time opening apps and media stored on their BlackBerry. One by one, you'll be able to pick out software programs, photos, a Web site, oft-used e-mail address, and so on, for which you'd like to have fast access. Press the convenience key (the right one, by default) and a list jumps up, docked to the right edge of the screen, that's populated with links to your most important content. Simply click the item in QuickLaunch to place a call, play a video, or compose … Read more

For more information, refer to our full review of the LG LH50 series..

Quick resizing tool

EvJO Photo-Image Resizer is a simple tool for resizing photos. While it performs its primary function well enough, the program includes a feature that makes up for any flaws.

We were initially disappointed with the interface because the Help file wouldn't open. However, the program's three-step setup was simple enough that we still felt comfortable using it. All the work was performed on one screen, which was another benefit that made the process intuitive and manageable. You can choose your image or an entire folder and determine its new dimensions in a matter of moments. However, the Resize … Read more

Quick Startup provides the tools for speeding up a computer by singling out slow-moving startup programs. With a basic setup and impressive results, this program will certainly make a difference.

We were pleased to discover the program's interface was incredibly simple to operate, housing its few commands on a single, intuitive screen. This was a blessing, as the Help file's tutorials were brief and not very useful. Quick Startup listed every program that starts running when we turned our computer on. With each, we were given a simple one-click option for delaying it. The programs were given a … Read more
