Pumpkin PC: But where's the USB?

There's something about Halloween that seems to raise the geek freak quotient more than any other day of the year.

A staple for the last few years has been the the PC pumpkin. And while the concept is hardly new, we're happy to report that the digital seasonal squashes seem to be getting more refined (if that's the word) with each October.

Self-illuminating hair gel

Ah, to be young again. Being forced to grow up, we missed the whole rave thing. Flash mobs too. But now we're ready to play catch-up big time, with this self-illuminating hair gel. Just mix the gel, apply as directed, and you're good to go for up to 8 hours (which, at our age, is way more time than needed.) You can even enhance your Halloween accoutrements with it. Now we just have to figure out how to get it past airport security.

Turn a paint mixer into a zombie!

I'm one of those people who's always very impressed by hardcore Halloween decoration--legitimately scary, mind you, no cutesy stuffed pumpkins or cartoon witches. And it's even better when it's home-made. So that's why I was very impressed by this do-it-yourself tutorial.
