Six tech features that should be standard in every new car

Air bags, antilock brakes, and stability control. CD players, power locks and windows, and air conditioning. These are all features that at some point were optional (and sometimes costly) in vehicles, but over time we've come to expect them in every new car on the road -- whether that's due to legislation or changing buyer tastes. As cars continue to evolve, so grow our expectations of what should be included in the sticker price. Acer introduces H6 series of affordable and sleek monitors

Acer has announced its new H6 series of budget friendly yet sleekly designed monitors. The 21.5-inch H226HQL and the 23-inch H236HL monitors are the first models released in the line, and sport 1080p HD IPS panel displays.

The monitors are designed with what Acer is calling a "zero frame" construction. The displays have a small frame measuring 0.08 inch to make for a less distracting border around the screen. Both monitors have HDMI, DVI, and VGA ports.

Dell's U2413 monitor is a good thing in a small package

Less than a year after it released the U2412M, Dell's added a new 24-inch monitor to its lineup. The U2413 is engineered for color-critical work and is currently available at $599.

The monitor has a 12-bit internal processor and is calibrated to support 99 percent of the Adobe RGB color space and 100 percent of sRGB. Ports on the monitor include USB 3.0, DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort, DVI, and HDMI.

According to Dell, the high-performance display will offer detailed images and color accuracy up to industry standards with its 16:10 aspect ratio and 2,560x1,600-pixel resolution.
