CES: Epson unveils two do-it-all printers for small business market

LAS VEGAS--At CES 2011, Epson adds two new all-in-one devices to its WorkForce line of multifunction printers. The WorkForce 840 and the WorkForce 60 are aimed directly at the consumer with a small business at home who needs a device to handle high-output printing, scanning, and fax functions.

Meet Kodak's newest flagship all-in-one printer, the ESP 9250

Kodak's new ESP 9250 all-in-one inkjet printer replaces the ESP 9 as its flagship printer for the Fall season. After the ESP 9 received poor user reviews for suffering installation errors and poor customer service, we're hoping that the 9250 can step it up, but let's take a closer look.

First, the control panel gets a good scrubbing and we're happy to see Kodak abandoning the Tron-esque virtual buttons in favor of a physical control panel, but the display steps down to a 2.4-inch LCD, as opposed to 3-inches on the ESP 9.

As usual, the printer gives you the standard array of features you get in a multifunction printer including Wi-Fi, a full media card report with support for SD, MS, Duo, and CompactFlash cards, two separate trays for letter-sized and 4x6-inch photo paper, and and auto-document feeder for scanning and faxing large volumes of paper.

In addition, the ESP 9250 is the first model to offer printable templates that you can access through Kodak's EasyShare photo organizing software. The templates make it easy to print out almost any design including graph paper, line paper, wide ruled paper, games, grocery lists, and sheet music.

HP's latest All-In-One printer takes the cake

Putting together a quality multifunction printer is no easy task, and we've seen a fair share of them that drop the ball, but HP's newest challenger, the Officejet J6480, restored our faith in All-in-One printers.
