Prepaid carrier Cricket Wireless is rolling out a handful of new perks to customers starting this Sunday. The first is a family plan that costs $100 for up to five phone lines, a deal sweetened even more by the pledge to knock $5 off the total when you pay your bill automatically online.
Cricket's plans come with unlimited talk, text, and Web. Android phones are also outfitted with Muve Music, Cricket's signature add-on that plays unlimited Music downloads and ringback tones so long as you pay your bill.

AT&T subscribers hankering for a curved-display smartphone can now preorder LG's G Flex.
The phone is listed on AT&T's Web site with a price tag of $300 with the usual two-year agreement. Buyers seeking other options can instead pay $26.74 or $34.75 per month via one of AT&T's Next installment plans or cough up $695 to go sans contract.

LG will introduce the next generation of its Optimus G Pro smartphone at Mobile World Congress, says Korea's ETNews.
The handset will reportedly run Android 4.4 KitKat and feature a massive 6-inch HD display. According to a "telecommunications industry" source, the device will boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB RAM, and support for LTE and LTE-Advanced connectivity.
Samsung quietly announced that Verizon will be the only US carrier to offer the Galaxy Note 3 in a new color. A short mention on the hardware maker's Web site confirms Verizon will carry the 5.7-inch smartphone in Rose Gold.

AT&T announced Monday that the LG G Flex will be available for preorder starting January 24, a week before the curved and flexible handset goes on sale at Sprint stores.
Customers will be able to purchase the G Flex for $299.99 with a two-year service contract, or make monthly payments on 12- or 18-month financing plans. However, AT&T did not indicate when buyers could expect delivery.
