How to edit ID3 tags

If you collect MP3s from disparate sources, your ID3 tags are probably in shambles. Ideally, an ID3 tag would include information about the song, artist, album, year, and genre. Some of your tracks may have just the artist labeled, others only the song title, while still others may have all of the information you need. If you want to keep your music collection organized, editing the ID3 tags is essential. The instructions below will get you started editing those tags.

Required attention span: 1 minute per song
