The scene: Fall Internet World 2000. New York City's Jacob Javits Center teems with more than a thousand booths, displays, and floor shows. The characters: hundreds of vendors out in full force to hawk wares from Web servers to ISPs, ASPs to wireless and broadband services. All the major Internet/intranet players are here, of course, but this year, CNET's editors are on a treasure hunt for lesser-known gems. We've combed the immense show floor and unearthed some of its best-kept secrets. Here's a sampling of what we found.
