CNET API

Welcome to the CNET API. The CNET API currently includes data for tech and consumer electronics products such as computers, digital cameras, MP3 players, and TVs, as well as software titles and merchant pricing from CNET Certified Merchants. The interface is REST-based, supporting both XML and JSON response formats, and is designed for easy integration and data discovery.

If you would like to use the CNET API, please sign up for a developer's key. With your developer's key, you will be able to access the data types available and begin constructing query URLs.

To simplify query creation, we created a tool called the Dashboard allowing you to interactively select data sets to include in your XML response stream. Please note, the number of queries to the API per day will be limited.
