File extension compatibility with the Creative Zen Vision:M

I had a question about the Vision:M. How do you know if a video file you already have is compatible with the Vision:M? I know it says the file types, but that doesn't mean a whole lot to me, as I'm pretty illiterate about those things. A lot of videos I have are in AVI format but encoded with DivX. I have no idea if that would be supported. Any help you could give would be excellent.

It's hard to tell; personally, more than 50 percent of the video I troll for online that is in a compatible format will work. But there are still issues of format, resolution, and so on that come into play with practically any file. Your player should have video-converter software that will help you get your video on your Zen Vision:M. Check out our tutorial on converting video for the Zen Vision--you can use the same process for the Vision:M.
