By Theano Nikitas
(February 13, 2006)
Even the most sophisticated digital camera can be point-and-shoot easy to use, but leaving a camera to its own devices can be dangerous. Beware handing control over to your digital camera.

But fear not! In a week we'll have you cured you of the darkest fears that prevent you from picking up that digital camera and bravely shooting in strange environments.

Monday's misgivings: xenophobia
Tuesday's trauma: demonophobia
Wednesday's worries: achluophobia

From darkroom to digital, full-time freelancer Theano Nikitas has been writing about photography for the past 16 years. Her articles and reviews have been featured in numerous print publications and Web sites such as CNET.
