Steve, nice setup. I'm glad to hear that you use your equipment for more than just workaday tasks. I imagine you're using your CoolDrive disk array to store media files (music), and I would be concerned if the only copies of your work were stored on that box. Do you have a good backup plan?

Speaking of saving your neck, I also recommend that anybody who spends much time on the phone invest in a headset. My favorite is the Plantronics CS50; it's wireless and has surprisingly good range. There are also many Bluetooth headsets that work with desk phones.

When you leave your lair, do you have good equipment for doing your job or for working on your music? If not, check out some of the newer high-powered desktop-replacement laptops, such as these, that have strong multimedia features. And also be sure to look into a hard drive MP3 player with a good recording function, such as one of these.
