Iomega includes FireWire 800 connectivity in external hard drive

![]() The product: Iomega revamped its external hard drive with an additional connector: FireWire 800. The Triple Interface External Hard Drives feature 7,200rpm hard drives and include USB 2.0, FireWire 400, and FireWire 800 connectors, allowing fast read/write speeds for Mac users. The drives come bundled with Dantz Retrospect for Mac users. For Windows users, there is Iomega's Automatic Backup software and disaster-recovery software. The Triple Interface comes in three capacities: 160GB, 250GB, and 400GB. The price: The drive costs $199 for 160GB, $279 for 250GB, and $429 for 400GB.
