Buffalo cuts the wires on the LinkStation

The product: Wireless is hot, and Buffalo Technology is happy to give the people what they want. Their CNET Editors' Choice award-winning LinkStation is now available in a wireless version, allowing users on a wireless home or small-business network to integrate a large-capacity storage solution. The Wireless LinkStation Network Storage Center features 802.11g wireless technology. Users can create or extend a wireless network by connecting the LinkStation to a wired network via its 10/100 Ethernet switch. The resulting network supports both 128-bit and 64-bit WEP. Unlike many so-called network storage devices, the LinkStation includes FTP-server functionality and a built-in print server. The LinkStation has two USB 2.0 ports, allowing users to daisy-chain storage devices on the network. Its features include:
