![]() Samsung unveils photo-friendly MP3 player at CES 2005 January 5, 2005; 2:10 p.m. ![]() The product: With the just-announced YH-925 audio/photo file player, Samsung improves on the Napster YH-920GS by adding a color screen and some nice feature enhancements, namely the ability to support and display photos. Also notable is the player's improved online music service support. Not only will the YH-925 support DRM-protected WMA files, it's also Janus compliant, meaning it will play subscription-based content from services such as Napster. Other features include:
The prospects: At press time, the YH-925's older sibling, the YH-920GS, was rating strongly with users. Samsung has produced stylishly designed, great-sounding MP3 players in the past, so we have high hopes for this photo-fabulous MP3 player.
