![]() The product: So far it's just an announcement, but it's big news for the minivan crowd: Delphi, which makes auto tech components for auto manufacturers, is working with the cable company Comcast to build a system for transferring programming from your home to your car. It's a competitor to TiVo To Go. Ultimately the goal is to use Delphi's existing in-car Wi-Fi technology for video transfer so that car owners will be able to automatically transfer their programs when they park in their garages. It'll take some time for this to roll out to buyers, though: development is planned to take up to 18 months. The price: No information yet. The prospects: In-car DVD, TV, and game systems are increasingly popular options and add-ons for people who take kids on road trips. Delphi's technology could also help Comcast extend its reach from homes into cars. By Rafe Needleman, editor, CNET Reviews CES DEBUTS BY BRAND
