Sports programming is growing by leaps and bounds on satellite radio, but you'll have to choose your service--XM or Sirius--based on the sports that are more important to you.
XM has MLB, NASCAR, and college sports
Football and men's and women's basketball from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), the Pac-10, and the Big 10 schools (including the University of Illinois) are available on XM, along with exclusive coverage of Major League Baseball and NASCAR racing.
Sirius has NFL, NBA, college sports, and English Premier League
Sirius, meanwhile, also offers extensive college coverage (including select Pac-10, SEC, Big 10, Big 12, and Big East games), as well as exclusive coverage of NFL and NBA matchups, and even English Premier League soccer. Both services have plenty of sports news and talk channels.
