Encyclopedia as a gift

I want to get my kids an encyclopedia CD for Christmas, but I don't know which one is the best. I've heard that Microsoft's is the best, but I wondered if World Book had one or if another one was really better. Help an old man out.

You're looking for Microsoft Encarta 2005. Encyclopedia Britannica has a CD version called Britannica Ultimate Reference Suite 2005, and World Book offers its contents online for a small fee.
