Best digital photo frames

(Apr 03, 2008)

Philip Ryan Philip Ryan

If you've had to buy any analog photo frames lately, you know that they can get expensive really fast. Now that digital photo frames have started to come down in price, they can be a nice alternative to an end table full of wood, glass, and glossy prints because one digital frame can serve up dozens of photos in one big, repeating slide show. As with any electronics, some digital photo frames are better than others, and these are the best we've reviewed.

Kodak EasyShare EX-1011

Kodak's Wi-Fi-enabled EX-1011 offers the same strong feature set, good image quality, and online integration with the company's free EasyShare Gallery online photo-sharing service as its highly rated 8-inch brother, the EX-811--but the EX-1011's bigger screen size has more visual impact, especially in larger rooms.

Aluratek ADMPF210

The Aluratek ADMPF210's nice wooden bezel and 1,024x768-pixel screen make it an attractive choice to display still images, but it falls short when trying to play back videos, and its speakers can't do justice to your MP3s.
