WinBook announced a Viiv all-in-one PC today, calling it the Jiv (rhymes with Viiv, which we all know rhymes with jive). The WinBook Jiv uses the same chassis as the all-in-one PC that Alienware announced here in Vegas. Let's quickly recap the core specs: Intel Centrino Duo CPU on the 945GM Express chipset, Media Center OS, and either integrated GMA 950 or discreet GeForce Go 6600 graphics. The Jiv weighs 9 pounds and features a 17-inch wide-screen display, a TV tuner, an integrated camera, a wireless Bluetooth keyboard, and a built-in wireless antenna. First impression: it's a very thin and stylish design that's packed with features.

WinBook also announced the Jiv Mini at CES, which it describes as resembling the Mac Mini. Unfortunately, the Jiv Mini is so small that it got lost on its way to Las Vegas. So, you'll have to wait for a picture, but what we can tell you is that it measures 9.1 inches long by 7.8 inches wide by 1.7 inches high and weighs 2.6 pounds. It's a bit longer and wider than the 6.5-inch square Mac Mini but slightly thinner than the Mac Mini's 2.0-inch height. With Windows XP Media Center OS, instant-on technology, the promise of services to come from a variety of Microsoft partners, and a dual-core CPU, the Jiv Mini qualifies as a Viiv PC. Like the Mac Mini, the Jiv Mini features built-in wireless networking and Bluetooth, and does the Mac Mini one better by offering not two but three USB 2.0 ports.

Pricing has yet to be determined for the Jiv and Jiv Mini. Both models will begin shipping in March.
