Samsung might be a little behind the game with its neXus XM-ready MP3 player, but it's a neat-looking little device. Unlike the
Pioneer Inno, the neXus won't let you listen to live satellite radio unless it's docked into its receiver base. Instead, you can record XM radio programs, then listen to those on the go. Of course, you can also load MP3s and WMA files on to the flash player, then create playlists on the fly from all the tracks on the device. The player's 1.6-inch monochrome display and rated 16-hour battery life are uninspiring. Check back soon for memory capacity and pricing info.

an portable music player should be able to recieve and record XM signals anywhere, in addition to an AM and FM reciever an mp3 playing capabilities. The on-screen menu:
mp3 library

FM
XM
Video
etc, etc.
