What I'd Like For the Holidays

Created: 11/18/2010

ScottStein8 says: Here's my big-ticket wish list for what I'd like this holiday...hope all my friends with deep pockets are listening!

Synology DiskStation DS410

Synology DiskStation DS410

ScottStein8 says: Probably more storage space than I'll ever need, but I'm desperately running out of storage space for photos, kid videos and iTunes.

Info:

The bottom line: The Disk Station DS410 is one of the most affordable four-bay full-feature NAS servers on the market. While it's overwhelming for novice home users, advanced users will also find it to be one of the best RAID 5-capable NAS servers for their home or small business environments.

Panasonic Viera TC-P46G25

Panasonic Viera TC-P46G25

ScottStein8 says: Because I have a 32-inch, 4-year-old Samsung at home, and three game systems hooked up to it.

Info:

The bottom line: Panasonic's TC-PG20/25 series offers a highly tempting mix of features, value, and initial picture quality, but long-term black-level performance is still an open question.

Monster Power Turbine PRO (Copper)

Monster Power Turbine PRO (Copper)

ScottStein8 says: I'm an earbud junkie, and these Turbines sounded great to me the last time I heard them. (Stocking-stuffer from a rich friend?)

Info:

The bottom line: The Monster Turbine Pro earphones offer a sleek and stylish design and plenty of deep, thumping bass. If you have money to burn, these are a nice choice.

Apple iPad (64GB, AT&T, 3G)

Apple iPad (64GB, AT&T, 3G)

ScottStein8 says: I love using my Wi-Fi 32GB iPad, but I'm admittedly envious of ones with more storage and 3G service. If someone wants to pay my AT&T bill...

Info:

The bottom line: The Apple iPad is the first affordable tablet computer worth owning, but it won't (yet) replace your laptop.

Apple MacBook Pro Spring 2010 (Core i7 2.66GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 15-inch)

Apple MacBook Pro Spring 2010 (Core i7 2.66GHz,...

ScottStein8 says: Just because I'm due for an upgrade.

Info:

The bottom line: Apple's 15-inch MacBook Pro keeps the same look and feel, but offers major internal changes, including an optional Intel Core i7 CPU, making it a very serious portable powerhouse.

if you get the monster turbine pro headphones, u wont be technically a headphone junkie. monster(a lot like bose) spends a lot of their money on advertising. if you wanted to get some better sounding phones(while saving quite a bit)u should go for the Klipsch Custom 3's. $109 on amazon. i got em on friday and i love em. just my 2 cents. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
