Kyocera Hydro (Boost, Cricket)
If you dig the idea of waterproofing but are looking for something more budget-friendly, then the Kyocera Hydro is worth considering. Available contract-free from Boost Mobile and Cricket Wireless, the Hydro is a midlevel Android 4.0 handset that's splash-proof and has a current price tag of just $79.99.
The good: The Kyocera Hydro from Boost and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, is waterproof, and has excellent call quality.
The bad: The Hydro has slow data and processor speeds, its speaker volume is low, and its profile is thick.
The bottom line: With Android 4.0, solid call quality, and waterproof capabilities, the Kyocera Hydro is a great prepaid device.
