Use your iPhone while its docked
San Francisco area startup UB3Rfun cranked out a line of iPhone docks in just a few weeks, using a 3D printer and a local manufacturer. I met up with founder Ryan Teixeira at a party at CES 2012 where he was showing them off.
They're slick and are designed to amplify the sound of you phone without electronics; the sound resonates through the stand and the result is impressive. Teixeira is running a Kickstarter campaign to try to amp up production.
The dock shown above is designed to make it easy to use your phone without taking it out of the stand.
