Maingear Ephex

We tried to keep super high-end gaming PC reviews to a minimum this year given all the economic turmoil. We made an exception for the nearly $9,000 Maingear Ephex because we hadn't yet run a PC with three graphics cards and a solid state hard drive through our benchmarks.

The results were unsurprisingly chart-topping, and that combined with its build quality saw the Ephex ride out the majority of 2009 on our Top Products list. Maingear has since discontinued the Ephex in favor of its new Shift, which we liked almost as much.
