It's holiday time and I want to send group e-mail to family and friends, but some family and friends don't want me to reveal their e-mail addresses to others. How do I send these?

Within most e-mail clients (either desktop, like Outlook; or Web-based, like Yahoo Mail) is an address line labeled BCC:, which stands for blind carbon copy. Instead of putting everyone's address in the To: field (I usually put my own address there for a record of the send), simply use the BCC: field for family and friends.
