CUC International has
launched an interactive video store called GoodMovies, which will sell its
30,000-plus titles online at 20 to 40 percent below retail cost. GoodMovies
is accessible as both a stand-alone site and from within CUC's
membership-based shopping site, netMarket. GoodMovies also will
cross-promote within netMarket, so that a shopper can buy a video through
Good Movies as well as buy the soundtrack through Musicspot and the novel through Book Stacks.

Powerhouse direct marketer CUC
International has paid $5 million for a 25 percent stake in NetGrocer, a nationwide online grocery
and household goods service. CUC also gained the right to buy the entire company at a later date. As a result of the deal, NetGrocer will create a customized version of its service for netMarket, CUC's membership-based consumer Web site.

Online retailer iMall has made deals to add 14 new stores to pick from on its Stuff.com site. Merchants now available include Toys R Us, Skechers, Music Boulevard, Pet Warehouse, Seattle's Finest Gourmet Coffee, Fitness Zone, Candy Direct, Game Keeper, and OfficeMax. The store plans to soon add SkyMall, OnSale, Rubbermaid, Omaha Steaks, and Netmarket, a division of Cendant. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
